Arbor Day Celebration & Park Dedication
The City celebrated Arbor Day at Ives Landing Park. Mayor Hook welcomed the group and read the Arbor Day Proclamation. Ives Landing Park was developed in large part due to the work by Council Member George Brady. The park, until 2017, was the Public Works maintenance yard and storage facility of equipment and materials.

Brady felt the property was much more valuable as a public park providing additional access to Lake Pateros. The Park has incredible views toward the east, Brewster, and Moses Mountain. The park has 6 campsites, 4 tent sites, electric & water hookups, boat parking, boat launch, restroom and shower facility, picnic shelter & tables, and an RV dumpsite location.
